JTC, SKF discuss migrants problems

JAMMU, Mar 3: A meeting of the Jagti Tenaments Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) Jammu and Kashmir was held under the chairmanship of its president, Shadi Lal Pandita today in which several issues of displaced Pandits were discussed.
The theme of the meeting was to discuss and finalize the Zeshtha Ashtami (Mela Kheer Bhawani) Yatra falling on June 10 and grant of RBA status to migrants of RBA areas of Valley.
Pandita said that necessary arrangement for the transportation of the pilgrims attending the Yatra on the occasion of the Zeshtha Ashtami and was decided to approach the Government in this behalf for providing SRTC buses as per past practice to the migrants free of cost. Accordingly the programme was sorted out.
It said the yatris attending the Kheer Bhawani Mela-2019 will assemble at Sports Stadium, Jagti Township, Lane No. 12, 13, Jammu on June 9 at 8 am and will leave towards the destination on the same day. The yatris will return to Jammu on June11 after performing the darshan of Mata Kheer Bhawani at Ganderbal, Tullamulla and other destinations.
