DODA, May 3: Thathri police arrested two thieves and recovered stolen laptop from their possession.
As per police sources, on April 29 this year, a complaint was lodged by Tariq Hussain of Jangalwar Tehsil Phagsoo with Police Station Thathri regarding theft of his laptop from his house.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 27/19 under section 457 and 380 RPC was registered at Police Station Thathri and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a number of suspects were rounded up and finally nabbed the thieves, who have been identified as Chander Parkash, son of Yashpal Singh of Chamoti Tehsil Drabshalla District Kishtwar, Ashish Kumar, son of Sudesh Kumar of Barshalla Tehsil Thathri and Vikas Manhas, son of Pardeep Singh of Thathri.
On their disclosure, the stolen laptop was recovered.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Thathri Inspector Suresh Kumar Goutam made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah Iftkhar Ahmed, Additional SP Bhaderwah Raj Singh Goria and SSP Doda Shabir Ahmed Malik.
