JAMMU , Dec 12: A strong protest was held by Jagti Tenement (JTC), Soan Kashmir Front ( SKF) today at Jagti township near here under the leadership of Shadi Lal Pandita on the 72nd day of the dharna launched by the two organisations in connection with various demands of Kashmiri migrants.
Addressing the protestors, Shadi Lal Pandita alleged, that Government has maintained a total silence over the demands which have compounded over the years. He warned that the dharna will continue till demands included hike in cash relief, 20,000 job package for unemployed youth with 5000 class fourth posts, holding of on spot recruitment drive in police for community youth, free ration to pensioners and other allied demands of the community are settled.
He also demanded that ration card be treated as the migration certificate for the displaced youth applying for various posts under PM package as it is not possible to seek migration certificate by the candidates in view of COVID Pandemic.
