JAMMU, Oct 31: Shadi Lal Pandita, president Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) called on, Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner in his office chambers here today and apprised him of the difficulties being faced by the migrants who have been deprived of ration supplies for past three months.
Pandita also apprised him that since relief holder migrants have no any other source of income to manage their domestic needs as such with holding ration for past three months has added to their financial hardships.
The Relief Commissioner informed him that all requisite formalities have been completed and the pending ration of the migrants will be released within 2-3 days
Pandita has said that though an ambulance has been provided for the patients of Jagti but it is surprising that the ambulance is not being put to use for carrying the patients on the plea that no permission for plying of the same has yet been issued by the authorities.
