Srinagar, Oct 31: With tourists and Bollywood going away from Valley due to ongoing violent unrest, the Tollywood still prefers Kashmir with an upcoming movie ‘Rose Garden’ being shot in scenic Valley.
Kashmir, where the environment is always hostile, is serving as a beautiful backdrop for a forthcoming Tollywood film, ‘Rose Garden’. The movie is being shot continuously in Kashmir from the last couple of weeks without any hassles, said the Director, G. Ravi Kumar during a presser here.
He said the movie is a story of a Hindu boy who loves a Muslim girl. Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao is producing the flick which is being helmed by G. Ravi Kumar. It will be Ravi’s directorial debut. The Director said the State Government is providing the necessary security to the cast and crew of ‘Rose Garden’.
“The local Government has provided security. It is a love story in the backdrop of conflict. So that’s the reason we are shooting most of the film in the State,” Kumar said. The makers of this impending flick are introducing a new pair Nitin Nash and Farnaz Shetty as the leads. Farnaz is better known for her television works. ‘Rose Garden’ will be her debut film. “We are planning to release the film for Sankranti,” the producer, Srinivasa Rao, added.
