JAMMU, June 25: Jugal Kishore Sharma Member of Parliament BJP Lok Sabha Jammu-Poonch along with Ex-Mla Chamb Dr Krishan Bhagat & Ex MLA Akhnoor Constituency Rajeev Sharma met with Chief Engineer Border Road Organization YK Ahuja and discussed the construction and widening of Jourian to Pallanwala Road on Priority.
Jugal Kishore Member of Parliament discussed the matter that Akhnoor Jourian Road, Upto Pallanwala is the major road connecting Pallanwala Border Sector is now in very worse and dilapidated condition needs emergency repair.The road is very important as it connects to major constituencies Akhnoor and Chhamb observes much traffic,goes through thickly populated areas. The road is very congested and also observes Army Movement usually during needy times.He said that necessary measures should be taken to repair the road on first priority and Construction work for Up-gradation & Widening of Jourian to Pallanwala should be started soon.
Dr Krishan Bhagat Ex MLA Chhamb Constituency during the meeting also informed Chief Engineer that people are suffering a lot due to bad condition of road.It is very difficult to travel on the road due to pits and even some people met with tragic accidents.
Rajeev Sharma Ex-MLA Akhnoor Constituency also highlighted the matter and said that the lot of works done under by Border Roads Organization which are admirable but Jourian to Pallanwala road needs attention and the construction work of road should be taken up at the earnest.
YK Ahuja Chief Engineer assured Member of Parliament and Members that Repair of road is taken up very soon and with in days time, road would get repaired. He also informed that Proposal for Up-gradation & Widening of road also submitted to the higher authorities for approval and the same should be taken up very soon.He also requested Member of Parliament to intervene into the matter so that the proposal would get approved and Up-gradation Widening work would also get started.
