Srinagar, June 17: Several job aspirants who had applied for the various posts advertised by the SKIMS, Soura today staged a protest against the move of withdrawing 66 posts after more than a year.
The youth appeared in the Press Enclave and staged a silent protest against the authorities while also seeking justice in this regard from the higher-ups.
Zubair Ahmad who had also applied for one of the posts said that the withdrawal of the posts came as a shock to him as well as the others who were now preparing for the examination.
“Last year, in June, we had applied for the posts that were advertised by the SKIMS, Soura; while they did not bother to conduct the exam, they directly withdrew 66 posts which is nothing but injustice,” he said.
The aspirants said that there were a total of 117 posts that were advertised by the SKIMS and only 66 posts were withdrawn while as rest of the posts are intact, which they said is injustice with them.
“How can they do this what justifies that move of withdrawing only 66 posts; where do we go,” they said.
The aggrieved aspirants urged the Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha to personally look into the matter so that their issues are resolved.
