JAMMU, Oct 12: Apni Party Provincial President of Women Wing Namrta Sharma condemned the administration including Jammu Municipal Corporation for their failure to provide basic amenities to the people of Udhaywala in Raipur-Domana assembly constituency.
Namrta organized a series of public meetings and listened to their problems like poor road connectivity, no street lights, lane and drains issues.
In her address, Namrta said that the Apni Party will leave no stone unturned in highlighting public issues before the concerned authorities.
“It is highly condemnable that the administration has failed miserably to provide basic facilities to the people of Udhaywala which is part of Jammu district,” said Namrta.
She said that the departments should ensure that the people should not suffer and if they are approached with certain grievances, they should be redressed.
“The Government has not been able to provide all the facilities to the people and the claims of successful implementation of all schemes proved to be hollow,” she said quoting the underdeveloped lanes and drains of the area.
Namrta said that the slogans and statements will never bring development to Jammu and its peripheral areas.
“The women are most affected with the negligence of the Govt. There is no cleanliness in these areas and the concerned department has not woken up from the deep sleep,” she alleged.
Namrta assured that the demands of the women will be highlighted before the concerned authorities for their early redressal.
