JAMMU, Sept 30: The Enforcement staff led by the Chief Enforcement Officer of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) while further continuing and intensifying the drive against the unauthorized construction, violations and encroachments undertook an extensive day long drive in various areas of the city today.
The team sealed the premises of Rangil Singh S/O. Ajit Singh at Sec No: 6, Lane No: 9, Nank Nagar, Jammu. The action has been taken under Section 8 (1) of J&K Control of Building Operation Act, 1988.
The team demolished the unauthorized construction being raised on lane by Sunil Kumar S/O . Puran Chand at Pacca Talab, Bahu Fort, Jammu.
It also demolished the shutters fixed by Narinder Singh S/O Rattan Singh at Channi Bija Extension, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu who converted the residential building into commercial one.
The drive has been conducted with the help of police force from Police Station Gandhi Nagar, Channi Himmat and force from District Police Lines, Jammu.
