BSP for timely Assembly polls in J&K

JAMMU, Sept 30: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) State President, Tulsi Dass Langeh and State general secretary, Rakesh Wazir today demanded holding of early elections in J&K quite well before the expiry date of the present term of State Assembly.
The two Party leaders have made an appeal to Election Commission of India (ECI) in this regard. This was stated in a Party handout later issued to press.
They said that even the relief and re-habilitation funds meant for the badly hit victims of floods in the State are boldly being used for the political mileage by the ruling Party and there had been day to day complaints of all other leading Political Parties in the State in this regard and all these Parties are openly opposing the way of such distribution of relief which benefits openly to a particular Political party in power.
To stop all this relief and rehabilitation work in J&K the BSP is of considered opinion that elections be announced in the State immediately so that Code of Conduct with the administrative control of Election Commission of India is announced enabling stoppage of misuse of the relief and rehabilitation funds coming from all the sides in the State.
