JKTJAC urges LG to resolve burning issues of teachers

JAMMU, Aug 10: A virtual meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers’ Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) was held here today under the leadership of UT President Vinod Sharma to discuss the burning issues of the teaching fraternity.
While speaking on the occasion, Vinod Sharma raised various burning issues of the cadre which included; DPC of Teachers to Masters, conversion of Head Teachers’ (SSA) posts into non plan Master posts , comprehensive transfer policy in favour of 3rd Teachers, Teachers Grade II and Teachers Grade III , regularisation of ReTs whose files are lying in various offices, conversion of left out RRETs to Teachers Grade II / III, review of the decision of imparting IMPACT training to Teachers Grade II and Teachers Grade III and clearance of arrears of ReTs under SSA/SAMAGRA prior to September 2018.
He appealed to the LG administration, Principal Secretary School Education, DSEJ, DSEK and SPD SAMAGRA to intervene in this regard and resolve all the issues of the teaching fraternity.
Others who also spoke on the occasion, included Najan Jafri (Sr Vice Chairman) Sukhdev Singh Sumberia (Chief Coordinator), Rajesh Jamwal (Provincial Predident Jammu), Naresh Sharma (Chief Spokesperson), Sukesh Khajuria, Mahesh Kumar, Pankaj Verma, Raj Kumar Dubey, Surjit Singh, Sajjad Malik, Manzoor Khan, Balwan Singh, Lekh Raj Parihar, Subhash Chander, Rakesh Singh, Tahir Masood, Hari Lal Nag and Surinder Sharma.
