JAMMU, Aug 10: Principal, Government Degree College (GDC), Prof Sumanesh Jasrotia today vowed to work with zeal and dedication for the better academic growth of the institution and take the institution to new heights.
Addressing a function organized by the civil society led by Hafiz Mohd Sayeed, Imam of Jamia Masjid Darhal and BDC Chairman Aslam Malik, in the College premises, Prof Jasrotia assured them that he will leave no stone unturned for the development of the institution.
Prof Jasrotia said that he will try his best to provide best in class educational facilities to the students so that they can compete with the students of well-established institutions of the country.
Later, the Principal along with civil society members planted saplings of various species of local flora including Eucalyptus, Kankoli (Elaegnus), Kainth (Pyrus pashia), Nerium, Daraba (Toona) in the college campus.
Members of the civil society also assured their whole hearted co-operation in the overall development of institution and taking it to new heights.
