JKTA raises issues of Teacher fraternity

UDHAMPUR, Mar 7: JK Teachers Association held a meeting at Ramnagar under the leadership of its UT President Bhupinder Singh and UT Coordinator Sunil Salaria.
Teachers from Zone Ramnagar and Kalwanta participated in the meeting and highlighted various issues confronting them.
While speaking on the occasion, Bhupinder Singh appealed Principal Secretary School Education to issue DDO powers of Zone Ramnagar so that the salary of Teachers of Zone Ramnagar for the last two months are released. He also demanded filing up all vacant posts in Primary, Middle, High, Higher Secondary schools and ZEO offices so that the teachers as well as students may not suffer more.
The meet demanded implementation of Pay Grade as per UT norms in favour of Teachers fraternity, Transfer Policy in favour of Teachers appointed under Ret Scheme and particularly for female teachers who are married in other villages, Blocks, Tehsils and Districts, inclusion of five years Service of ReTs in their Service record for promotion benefits, restore Old Pension Scheme in favour of Teachers fraternity as well as other employees and scrap new Pension Scheme.
UT Coordinator Sunil Salaria appealed all Zonal Education Officers of District Udhampur to complete all the pending Service Books of teachers of their respective Zones immediately as per the order No. CEOU/E-2/49400-526 dated: 16-01-21 issued by Chief Education Officer Udhampur.
The meeting was attended by Kuldeep Chand, Karan Chand, Pradeep Sharma, Vikas Sharma, Sham Singh, Ravikant, Ravi Kumar, Ajay Sharma, Sunil Singh, Purav Chand, Sukhdev Sharma, Vishal Singh, Kuldeep Chand, Arjun Singh, Pardeep Kumar, Chuni Lal, Sham Lal, Sudesh Kumar, Kuldeep Kumar and others.
