JAMMU, Sept 9: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation , Jammu, led by JKMEF UT President Sushil Sudan today called on Bhupinder Kumar, Administrative Secretary Health & Medical Education Department, Jammu & Kashmir, at his office chamber in the Civil Secretariat Jammu.
During the meeting, Sudan projected demand to release the salary of 2211- Head Family Welfare of Female Multipurpose Health Workers and other staff which has been pending for the last three months with the result the employees and their families have been facing hardship. He requested to release the pending salary immediately without further delay and also demanded to resolve a permanent solution of salary of employees working in Head -2211 family Welfare within a stipulated time.
Sudan also projected that the Administrative Officer of Family Welfare, MCH and Immunization Department Jammu was not attending office regularly at Nagrota, Jammu resulting that many Insitu Promotion (Time Bound Promotion cases) files are lying pending for last 1.1/2 years. He demanded that the Administrative Officer should attend office in Jammu regularly so that pending orders of Time Bound Promotion case of employees can be issued in favour of the employees of the Family Welfare Department. Attachment of the employees suffering from long life disease was also discussed during the meeting.
Registrations of all the leftover Govt Pharmacists was another major demand. After the abrogation of Article 370, most Pharmacists are not getting registered by JK Pharmacy Council. All the leftover Govt Pharmacists should be registered in the office of the Controller of Drug & Food Organization (JK Pharmacy Council), he demanded.
Administrative Secretary Bhupinder Kumar listened to the demands of the deputation patiently and decided to put up the matter with Additional Chief Secretary Finance in the schedule meeting and also assured to solve other demands as early as possible.
Those who were part of the deputation included Kamal Jit Sawhney, Gen Sec JKGPA, Sheikh Mehraj Ud Din ,S Tajinder Singh, Mohd Saleem, S Darminder Singh and others.
