JAMMU, Sept 18: Jammu Kashmir Government Pharmacists Association (JKGPA) under the presidentship of Bharat Bhushan Bhagat and under the guidance of Sushil Sudan (member PCI and president JKMEF) met with Drug Controller and discussed the problems faced during registration on online portal after amendment from the Central Pharmacy Act 1948 (Section 32©).
The Drug Controller listened to the problem of Pharmacists and passed instructions for rectification. The Deputy Drug Controller Surinder Mohan Tickoo also listened to the deputation and assured that process of registration should be made friendlier and unnecessary formalities should be curtailed. He also assured that in-service Pharmacists and who got training from the JK Government Institute needn’t to get mandatory registration from Paramedical Council.
The deputation was comprised of Jarnail Singh, RP Singh, Madan Lal Sharma, Rattan Lal Badan, Vishal Sabharwal, Bahadur Singh, Sanjay Choudhary, Ashok Behl, Rajesh Sharma, Bansi Lal, Gurmeet Singh and Suresh Abrol.
