JKAEA discusses demands

JAMMU, May 26: J&K Accounts Employees’ Association (JKAEA) discussed various issues concerning the employees in its general body meeting held today under the chairmanship of Kulwant Singh Sambyal, president of the Association.
The major issues discussed during the meeting include restoring Government office timing from 8 AM to 2 PM in Jammu province, 5 days working with holiday on Saturday for all Government offices, enhancement of medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 5000 per month, restoration of medical insurance policy.
The other issues discussed in the meeting were amendment of SRO 160 benefit from date of joining for grant of increment bar, immediate release of notification of PSC Department Exam Part-I, ACC Accounts and conducting departmental exam at NZATI Jammu/Kashmir, stoppage of pick and choose policy while making transfers, implementation of SRO 272, etc.
