Clerical staff raises demands

JAMMU, May 26: A meeting of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association was held here today under the chairmanship of Babu Hussain Malik, State President of the Association and Ravi Singh Bhau, Association Convener.
Various demands of the Association were raised in the meeting.
These demands included changing in time of offices as was earlier being done, increase in medical allowance of Government employees and amendment in SRO-333.
Other demands included restoration of two additional increments after passing the Secretariat Assistant Examination as per past practise.
The Clerical Staff Association also demanded regularisation of Gazzetted and Non-Gazzeted Employees of Education Department.
Regularisation of daily wagers, contractual, consolidated and need based casual labourers, Anganwari workers and helpers was also demanded.
