JKAACL organizes Bhajan Sandhya

JAMMU, Oct 25: Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) organized ‘Deep Sargam’ Bhajan Sandhya today at KL Saigal Hall.
Prof Nirmal Vinod, renowned Hindi, Dogri, Punjabi writer, poet and scholar was the chief guest while Dr Arvinder Singh Amn, Additional Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages was also present in the presidium.
While addressing the gathering, Prof Nirmal Vinod highlighted the role of Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages in providing platform to the young artists with special mention of Ananya Sharma from Udhampur.
Earlier, while welcoming the gathering, Dr Arvinder Singh Amn informed about the activities being organized in future.
The artists who performed include Dr Chinmai Sharma, Kusha Sharma, Ananya Sharma, Upma Sharma, Dhamesh Nargotra, Virinder Kapadia and rhythm was provided by Rakesh Anand (Flute), Kamal Sharma, (Dholak), Neeraj Verma (Tabla) and Sunil Sharma (Synth).
Among others present were Vinod Sharma, VK Samyal, Gianeshwar Sharma, KK Shakir, Jang S Varman, Ashok Anjum, Dr Kamal Banka, Sita Kumari. Eminent theatre artist, director Dayal Krishna Nath from Assam was also present with his team.
