JAMMU, Oct 10: Former Minister and Ex MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma (CA) kick started the works for construction of a lane at Krishna Nagar area along with Corporator, Jeet Angral in Ward Number 12 of the constituency. Sharma was also accompanied by many local residents and political activists. Locals gathered on the spot and hailed the developmental measures taken by the Ex MLA to redress public grievances. The funds for the works were allotted to the local Corporator.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that it was a pending demand of the residents of the area from a long time which caters to the needs of thousands of local residents and adjoining areas so it was necessary to take up the developmental works in order to provide the public with basic amenities. He also asked the department to work on the pending developmental works so that the area must be equipped with modern infrastructure. He also asked the public to frame a committee for the development and maintenance of the area.
Sat stated that any further funds required for the maintenance and up gradation of other works will also be done with the assistance of concerned authorities so that the quality of infra is maintained. He said that BJP is committed for the development of every sphere and segment and he stated that under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, J&K witnessed a new era of development.
Jeet Angral and Keshav also congratulated the masses for the works and said that with the efforts of former MLA many works were done which solved the problems of the masses. He said that the public has hailed the work of completion of all roads, setting of new transformers and other works in the Ward which were done with the efforts of former MLA. He also talked about the works to be taken up in the ward.
Dr Surjeet Singh, Varinder Dogra, Ramesh Kumar, Anil Angral, Gulshan, Surinder Kumar, Tarun Angral, Deepak Kumar, Kuldeep Kumar and several others were also present.
