JJSF re-constitutes State, provincial committees

JAMMU, June 28: Jammu Joint Students’ Federation (JJSF) – a premier students’ organization has re-constituted its State and provincial committees with the re-election of Advocate Pushvinder Singh Jamwal as the State president.
Advocate Vikrant Sharma has been nominated as Advisor to the president while Atul Sudan and Dakhseesh Maharaj were elected as State vice-presidents.  For the post of State general secretaries, names of Sayed Ali Mujtaba and Farman Malik were nominated while the responsibilities of State secretaries have been assigned to Rahul Dev, Adarsh Bakshi, Abhinandan Sharma, Raminder Pal Singh, Harjot Singh Babbar and Darpan Singh Rajput.
Ankush Sharma and Adarsh Narania have been nominated as State joint secretary and State press secretary, respectively.
For the provincial committee of Jammu-Udhampur, Samba and Kathua, Vikram Singh Chib was nominated as provincial president while the posts of provincial vice president were given to Clinton Sharma and Sunil Chauhan.
Shivam Rajput and Sagar Singh have been nominated as provincial general secretaries while Surjeet Phounsa, Bhagwan Singh, Ankush Sharma, Vikas Langeh and Abhimanyu, Shivam Sadotra were appointed as provincial secretaries. Shammi was nominated as provincial joint secretary and Ankush as provincial press secretary
The new team was announced here today during a press conference by Advocate Pushvinder Singh, who also informed that the JJSF had decided to constitute an advisory board of founder members of JJSF.
The advisory board is comprised of Kuljeet Jamwal, Rajinder Jamwal, Dr Hari Dutt Shishu, Ajaat Jamwal, Kuldeep Chib, Zorawar Singh Jamwal, Sanjay Singh Salathia, Rakesh Chargotra, Rajesh Vidhyarthi and Jyoti Mishra.
“Further within few months we are going to establish our units in all colleges and schools of Jammu and we will fight for the equality and justice in all three regions,” he added and further said that JJSF will continue its fight for the rights of Dogras.
