JAMMU, July 30: Jammu Development Authority (JDA) today organized an awareness camp regarding J&K Unified Building Bye Laws (JKUBBL), Change of Land Use (CLU), Online Building Permission System and five-year periodical review of Jammu Master Plan-2032 (JMP-2032) in Block Development Office, Bishnah, Jammu.
In the camp, JDA was represented by Jagdish Raj Hans (Chief Town Planner, JDA), Monika Thappa (Tehsildar, JDA), Vitasta Raina (ATP, JDA), Ravinder Paul Singh (Assistant Architect, JDA) whereas Town Planning Organization was represented by Anil Raina (Chief Town Planner) and Rajeev Abrol (Town Planner). The whole camp was organized under the close supervision of Pankaj Magotra, Vice Chairman JDA.
DDC Member Dharminder Kumar, BDC Surjit Kumar, Vice Chairman, Municipal Committee, Bishnah, Romesh Lal, Councilors– Sahil Gupta, Surinder Singh, Rajan Sharma and Kulbir Singh, Sarpanchs–Surjeet Singh, Bawishan Singh, Vinod Singh and Panchs of various Panchyats of Bishnah area actively participated in the camp and shared their expectations from the Master Plan review and assured to cooperate with JDA in implementing the provisions of Master Plan.
Live demonstration of E-Services such as Change of Land Use and Online Building Permission System was given to public participants from the Bishnah and adjoining areas by JDA officers through Power Point Presentation. Live demonstration was also given for the use of JDAs land use App “Know Your Master Plan Use” for enabling people to check and find themselves the Master Plan Land use of any location within the Jammu Master Plan limits on the easy to use Google platform.
The experts from the Town and Country Planning Organisation, New Delhi, Dr Sandeep Kumar Raut, Associate Town & Country Planner and Anil Kumar Rathore Associate Architect, also interacted with participants regarding review of Jammu Master Plan 2032 with specific purpose to seek publics feedback on land use and infrastructure development issues.
