JAMMU, Mar 20: A delegation of Jagti Coordination Committee JCC) led by Ravi Zuthsi and S N Gurtoo along with other members of the Committee called on Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, M N Pandita and apprised him of the main problems being faced by the inmates living in Jagti township.
They showed concern over failure of authorities to make Jagti hospital operational fully and providing of basic infrastructure including medicines and staff so that the Hospital can be fully operational for 24 hours.
The delegation also expressed concern over insanitation in the township and stressed in improving sanitation facilities in view of the coming Summer. They further demanded renovation of road from Kandoli Mata to Jagti township which is in dilapidated condition and construction of bridge over road leading to cremation ground. The RRC assured the delegation that the problems will be solved.
Ashok Koul, Surinder Kumar, Ramesh Jee, Chand Jee, Raj Kapoor, Daleep Bazaz and O N Koul were other members of the delegation.
