JAMMU, Feb 6: District Development Council (DDC) Member, Suchetgarh, Taranjit Singh Tony while strongly condemning the report presented by the Delimitation Commission has accused the Commission of working under the microscopic supervision of BJP and RSS.
In a statement issued here, today, the DDC Member said that after the Kissan Dharna BJP had sensed that Jats, Sikhs, Muslims, Schedule Castes will not vote in favour of the party. Therefore they have carved new constituencies keeping in view that no community Jat, Sikhs, Muslims and Scheduled castes get majority votes in elections. In fact the BJP has backstabbed the these communities through Delimitation Commission, he added.
Tony said RS Pura is a glaring monumental blunder that the Delimitation Commission has committed by re-reserving it even after 26 years of reservation.
Tony questioned the Delimitation Commission saying that if they really want to show that they are independent and judicious how they can justify the re-reservation of RS Pura even after 26 years of reservation. He said this has blurred the fate of general category leaders in RS Pura segment who were waiting for 26 years to see end to reservation.
Tony said Sikhs were constituting a strong majority in Gandhi Nagar and RS Pura constituencies but these have been divided in such a way that their majority has been reduced by the evil designs of BJP being implemented through Delimitation Commission and similarly the Jat dominant constituency of Suchetgarh has been disbanded via evil design of BJP, sensing the Jat revolt against BJP all over the India.
All this does not end here, they further reserved the constituencies of Jats and the glaring example is Ramgarh, RS Pura and Marh where Jats were having majority votes. While dividing Gandhi Nagar constituency the same game has been played against Muslim and Gujjar voters of Sunjwan, Bathindi and Chowadi, he alleged. Tony said Jats, Sikhs, Muslims and SCs have openly voiced and pledged to vote against BJP for their nefarious deigns against them.
