Jasrotia lays foundation stone of community hall

KATHUA, Sept 2: BJP State general secretary and MLA Kathua Rajiv Jasrotia today said that the Government has prepared a comprehensive plan to revive overall profile of the State by constructing latest infrastructure facilities in every nook and corner of the State.
He stated this while addressing a gathering at Nagri after laying foundation stone of Rs 50 lakh multipurpose community hall.
Jasrotia added that with the completion of multipurpose community hall, the poor people of the area would be able to arrange their religious as well as social functions on nominal fee. He called upon the people to protect public properties in their respective areas which are meant for their use.
The people in the form of memorandum projected various other developmental demands which were mainly related to construction of link roads, adequate health care facilities, water/power supply, sanitation, old age/widow pension, beside others worth over crore.
While responding to the demands of the people, Jasrotia assured them that their demands would be redressed soon.
He asked the concerned officers to work collectively to ensure effective implementation of the programs being run by the Government.
Earlier, Jasrotia also inaugurated street lights worth Rs 3 lakhs in the area besides Rs 4 lakh district plan, Rs 10 lakh IDMP and Rs 6 lakh under SDRF for lanes and drains.
He warned the officers against any laxity with regard to the solving of problems of the poor people, adding that any complaint in this regard would invite strict action against the delinquent officers and officials.
