Jasrotia inaugurates culvert at village Uttri

KATHUA, Sept 7: MLA Kathua Assembly Constituency Rajiv Jasrotia today inaugurated a culvert at village Uttri of Kathua constituency. The culvert was constructed by Rural Development Department (RDD) at a cost of Rs 5.00 lakh. Besides a transformer worth Rs 2.50 lakh was also sanctioned by the MLA in the area.
While speaking on the occasion; Jasrotia said that he is committed for development of his constituency particularly rural areas. Earlier, prominent persons of village said that it is a matter of satisfaction and relief that Jasrotia has fulfilled his election commitment by providing a large number of electric poles and also by constructing and widening of many roads.
Responding to the people’s demands, MLA assured the people that all their demands related to safe drinking water, installation of poles, regular power supply in metered areas and up-gradation of transformer, benefits under various State and Centre sponsored schemes like BPL, Pension Schemes, Widow Pension Scheme, blacktopping of roads would be addressed in a time bound manner.MLA said that the main focus of the Government is to develop every corner of the State with modern lines, for which liberal funding has been provided by the Central Government to the State Government.
MLA cautioned the people against divisive forces and urged them to work for cementing the bonds of brotherhood between various communities.”The people should be cautious about the mechanization of the opposition who are dividing them on communal lines to gain political mileage”, he said. He gave a detailed account of the development projects and welfare schemes launched by the Coalition Government in the State. He said that the opposition was un-nerved with growing popularity graph of the present Coalition Government.
MLA strongly maintained that  an effective monitoring mechanism has been put in place to enforce accountability and transparency in the implementation of the developmental schemes adding that need for public involvement in the developmental activities is vital and without their cooperation targeted concrete results on ground could not be achieved.MLA said development of every sections of the society is the priority of Coalition Government adding that numbers of development works are being executed in the PHE, PDD, R&B, and healthcare and education sectors in the State for facilitating the people.
