JAMMU, June 6: Renowned cartoonist Shekhar Sharma organized a unique “Exhibition on Wheels” as part of the ongoing anti-drug awareness campaign in collaboration with Jammu Police.
The initiative was conducted under the leadership of SSP Jammu, Joginder Singh, with active support from SP North Vivek Shekhar, SDPO City North Vikram Bhau, and SHO City Police Station Shakti Sharma, who have been playing a vital role in taking the anti-drug awareness movement forward.
The exhibition was organized in front of the world-famous Raghunath Mandir, Jammu, where Shekhar Sharma displayed a series of thought-provoking cartoons created by him to spread awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse. Through his artwork, the cartoonist conveyed powerful messages encouraging society, especially the youth, to stay away from drugs and contribute towards building a healthier and drug-free Jammu and Kashmir.
The exhibition was held as part of the larger anti-drug movement initiated by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, aimed at eradicating the menace of drug addiction from the Union Territory.
