JAMMU, Oct 20: Indian Dental Association (IDA) is going to organize a three day Dental Conference from October 31, in which more than five hundred delegates from within and outside the State will be participating. This was informed today by Dr Gautam Sharma, general secretary, Indian Dental Association (IDA), Jammu Branch, during a meeting of the association.
Since the last State and Inter-State Dental Conference, held in year 2006, no mega dental event has so far been held in Jammu, he added.
Dr Ritesh Gupta, president IDA Jammu Branch, said that details of the programme have been sent to head office at Mumbai regarding organization of this conference and first call letter has already been dispatched to the dentists in all the States.
IDA is trying to rope in dental equipment manufacturers, pharmaceutical industry and other industrial houses for sponsorship as this is a very prestigious event for Jammu.
