BHADERWAH, Oct 4: To press their long pending demands, Jal Shakti Department’s daily wage employees took out a protest rally here, while following all SOPs and guidelines.
More than 300 protesting employees under the banner of PHE Employees United Front unit Bhaderwah led by Sajjad Ahmed Incharge Bhaderwah, assembled at PHE Headquarters, where from they took out a protest rally, which after passing through various bazaars including Sartingal road, Vasuki Dhera, Ganpat Bazaar, Seri Bazar, Sadeeq abaad, Chobia link road culminated outside ADC Office Kotli Bhaderwah.
While raising slogans against higher authorities, the protesters said that their demands should be fulfilled at the earliest.
They were demanding their regularization, implementation of minimum wages act, release of all pending wages and others.
It is notable that like other parts of Jammu Division, Jal Shakti Department’s daily wage employees of Additional District Bhaderwah are on strike since last 10 days, due to which water supply has been affected in many areas.
