DODA, July 30: An employee of Jal Shakti Department died due to fall into gorge near Kulhand Mandarla area here today, a police official said.
The deceased was identified as Ghulam Mohammad Lohar, son of Mohammed Akbar Lohar, a resident of Neilsoo.
On getting information, police team along with locals rushed to the spot, retrieved the body from the gorge and shifted it to GMC Doda.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the body was handed over to legal heirs for last rites, the official added.
Doda Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
