Jagriti Sr Citizen Club holds meet

UDHAMPUR, Sept 8: Jagriti Senior Citizen Club Udhampur today held a meeting in the premises of Jagriti Oldage Home Udhampur under the patronage of Club’s patron-in chief Dr RC Nagar.
The meeting was largely attended by office bearers and members of the Club. Briefing to the media, in a press conference after the meeting, Mahadeep Singh Jamwal (ex-police officer) flanked by office bearer Jugal Gupta, Col Balwant Singh and others disclosed that since inception of the Jagriti Senior Citizen Club Udhampur on 21 August 2019 more than 50 retired top level Government officers have obtained the membership of the Club.
Apprising about the activities to be undertaken under the banner of Jagriti Senior Citizen Club Udhampur, Jamwal said that the objective of the Club is to aware the society about social evils existing in the society and to create a healthy society to propagate and promote the welfare measures announced by Government of India/State Government and to keep a hawk’s eye over the quality of the development works undertaken at various levels.
Further, Jamwal informed that on 21st of every month, a monthly meeting of the Club members will be held at its office at Jagriti Oldage Home Udhampur to chalk out monthly activities program to be undertaken during the month.
