JAMMU, Apr 27: National spokesperson of the Indian Youth Congress (IYC), Ashwarya Bhadre today said that IYC initiatives aims to strengthen democracy through youth engagements in the country.
Addressing a press conference at party office here today, Bhadre said that the primary objective of this initiative is to provide a common platform to youth across the country, including social media activists, local media personnel, journalists, TV influencers, and content creators. She emphasized that by bringing these diverse groups together, the program seeks to create a more informed and responsible youth population that actively contributes to strengthening democratic institutions.
She highlighted that under this campaign, innovative efforts such as “Bahujan Ki Awaaz” and “Phygital Kranti” are being undertaken to connect with young people through both physical outreach and digital engagement. These initiatives aim to raise awareness about constitutional rights and duties, while encouraging youth to participate meaningfully in nation-building processes.
Elaborating on the broader vision of the program, IYC leader said that the constitution leadership program is not just an awareness drive but a movement to empower young voices and ensure their active involvement in shaping the future of the country. She stressed that in the current socio-political landscape, it is essential for the youth to understand the core spirit of the Constitution and uphold its values in everyday life.
Bhadre reiterated that the Indian Youth Congress is committed to reaching every corner of the country through this initiative, ensuring that young people from diverse backgrounds are equipped with the knowledge and tools required to engage constructively in democratic processes.
The conference concluded with a renewed commitment from the Youth Congress leadership to continue expanding the reach of the Constitution Leadership Program and to further strengthen its engagement with the youth across the nation.
