International Yoga Centre at Mantalai

Sir,
I would like to  request the Chief Minister J&K State to establish International Yoga Centre at Mantalai in Udhampur district. It is pertinent to mention here that Mantalai has remained an important religious pilgrimage destination for the Hindus from very early times. Moreover, Mantalai has remained the capital headquarter of Chandervanshi kings from early Medieval period, who came from Bundelkhand and established a strong Kingdom with the help of local Megh Raja of Mantalai area. In adddition to above, Mantalai deserves to be called as wonderful tourist place which attracts tourists throughout the year. The Archaeological chapter of Mantalai claims its link with marriage of  Lord Shiva with Goddess Parvati as per old legends. So it is clear from above that Mantalai has something special to offer to the mankind. Further credit goes to Late Swami Dharendra Brahmachari, who recognised the importance of this sacred place and raised  multi-million property at this place. The construction of ‘Air Field’ at this place gave air connectivity to Mantalai and aeroplanes of Swami Ji brought National and International personalities to this place.
Now this wonder city planned as Mini-Singapore is all about to turn into ruins. Many agencies took charge of this beautiful Aparna Ashram, but no development has been done at this place. Now, the present Govt. should explore two options, one to handover Mantalai Ashram to somebody, who has all  resources to take up this place for its development as Inter- national Yoga Centre. The second option is to handover Mantalai to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Katra to establish Inter National Yoga University with the assistance of Govt of India. Only two above options will be successful, otherwise, Mantalai cannot be developed on tourist lines alone, because the place is more religious in nature.
Yours etc…..
