JAMMU, Feb 13: The accumulation at the credit of subscribers to General Provident Fund and other similar funds shall carry interest at the rate of eight percent for fourth quarter of the financial year 2018-19.
This fresh revision of the rate of interest on GPF and other similar funds for the said quarter was ordered today by the State Finance Department in pursuant to the notification number 5(1)-B(PD)2018, dated 03-01-2019, issued by the department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Government of India.
