JAMMU, Apr 24: The 53rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Institution of Engineers (India), Jammu Local Centre was held at its Institutional complex here today through online and off line mode.
It was presided over by Dr Sanjay Khar, chairman of IEI Jammu Local Centre. A large number of Corporate members from all disciplines of engineering also attended the AGM.
C P Sharma, honorary secretary, while welcoming the members presented the annual report for the year 2019-20 and highlighted the activities of the Jammu Centre. The audited annual account for the year 2019-20 were presented and approved.
An account of various activities conducted by the Institution of Engineers India during the year which included seminars / paper presentations, projecting local problems, was given in detail besides report of holding of national/ international seminars and symposia.
