JAMMU, Jan 21: An infant was found dead in sewerage lane in Subash Nagar area today morning.
As per police sources, some locals spotted dead body of a new born female baby in sewerage lane in Subash Nagar area and informed the police.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the body of the infant to mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) here.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar and investigation started.
