Indian Navy Admiral visiting Bangladesh

Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh is on a visit to Bangladesh from 21-23 Sep.

DHAKA, Sept 22:
Admiral Karambir Singh, PVSM, AVSM, ADC, Chief of the Naval Staff, Indian Navy is currently visiting Bangladesh.
The Admiral will be in the country till next Tuesday.
He arrived here on Saturday. During the visit, the Admiral will be meeting high ranking dignitaries of Bangladesh for example Security Affairs Adviser to the Prime Minister, Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Naval Staff, Chief of Air Staff and Principal Staff Officer Armed Forces Division.
The Admiral will also Call on the Regional Commanders of Bangladesh Navy and will also attend a seminar at Bangladesh Institute of Maritime Research and Development (BIMRAD).
During the tour, the CNS, IN will visit Khulna Shipyard, various Bangladesh Naval Stations and operational facilities like BN SWADS and BN War Ship BNS Bangabandhu, etc.
The Admiral will also visit Bangladesh Naval Academy and interact with BN trainee officers.
The visit of Admiral Karambir Singh to Bangladesh is part of the tradition of regular high level exchanges between the Armed Forces of both countries and will enhance friendship and bilateral co-operation particularly in the domain of maritime defence cooperation and will fortify the close and fraternal ties existing between the two neighbouring Navies.
