All India Hindi Writers conference concludes

JAMMU, Sept 15: Two day All India Hindi Writers Conference, organized by Jammu Kashmir Academy of Art Culture and Languages, concluded here today at Abhinav Theatre Jammu.
In the first Paper Reading session, Koshika Sharma, Scholar Department of Hindi University of Jammu, presented her paper on the topic ‘Jammu Kashmir ka Hindi Kavya: 2017’ and Dr Mukesh Rajput presented her paper on ‘Jammu Kashmir ka Hindi Upanayas: 2017’. Prof Nirmal Vinod presided over the even and Prof P N Trisal was also present in the presidium as panelist.
While addressing the audience, Prof Nirmal Vinod said that the participation of youth in creative writing and research reflects that the future of Hindi literature in Jammu and Kashmir is in safe hands. Prof P N Trisal, while speaking, said that literature in general not only highlights the negativity of the society but stands with full authority for the remedy and treatment of social evils. Reeta Khadyal, Editor Hindi JAKAACL conducted proceedings of the sessions.
In the next session, Dr Aruna Sharma presented her paper on ‘Jammu Kashmir Key Hindi Sahitya Ko Sthaniya Sansthaon Ka Yogdaan: 2017’. Prof Shiv Nirmohi presided over the session while Rajinder Upadhyay, Hindi poet from Delhi, was also present in the presidium as panelist. Rattan Basotra, Editor Dogri JAKAACL conducted proceedings of this session.
The two- day conference concluded with “Hindi Kavya Goshthi”. Prof Chanchal Dogra and Prof Nirmal Vinod were present in the presidium. The poets who participated in the poetry session included: Rajender Upadhyay, Pranjal Dhar from Delhi, Dr Madhumangal Chaturvedi from Lucknow, Nida Nawaz from Kashmir, Adarsh Malhotra from Kathua, Kusum Sharma Antra from Udhampur, Vinod Kumar Gupta, Sham Bihari Juneja, Anila Singh Charak, Bindya Raina Tikoo, Sonia Upadhyay, Maharaj Krishan Bharat, Manoj Sharma, Sheikh Mohd Kalyan, Sudhir Mahajan, Krishan Kumar Sharma, K Shakti Singh, Vikram Sahi, Bhagwati Devi, and Sunil Sharma from Jammu
Prominent among the audience included Prof R L Shant, Dr Kiran Bakshi, Prof N D Jamwal, Mohan Singh, Santosh Sangra, Prof Rajkumar, Dr Om Goswami, Suman Pal, Inderjeet Kesar, K K Shakir, S Dedar Singh, Prof O P Dwivedi, Balwinder Singh, Sitaram Sapolia, Shashank Chowdhary, Hindi students from MIER, GCW Parade , Jammu University, Central University and SMVDU.
Bindya Raina Tikoo and Reeta Khadyal jointly conducted proceedings of the concluding session.
