UDHAMPUR, Aug 18: Police here today seized illegal liquor from Kunjar Marothi area of Sudhmahadev falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Chenani.
After a specific tip, a police team comprising of Head-Constable Sudesh Kumar, Section Grade Constables Lal Din and Bansi led by Sub-Inspector Rahul Mahajan under the supervision of SDPO Chenani Chanderjeet Singh raided the house of Bhushan Kumar son of Charan Dass at village Marothi and recovered 10 kg illicit country made liquor and about 90 kg Lahan.
The liquor has been seized while the Lahan was destroyed on the spot.
A case in FIR number 73/2018 Under Section 48 (E) of Excise Act has been registered at the Police Station Chenani and investigation is going on.
