BOSE workshop held for revision of Class XI, XII Hindi text books

JAMMU, Aug 18: A four- day workshop for revision /development of text books of Hindi for classes XI & XII, organized by CDR Wing-JD, Jammu Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) Jammu, concluded today.
The subject experts, who participated in the workshop, included Dr Anju Sharma Thapa,
Associate Professor  and Directorate of Distance Education University of Jammu, Kamaljeet, Assistant Professor, GDC, Samba, /Balwan Singh,  Assistant Professor, GDC, R S Pura, Dr Sanjeevani,  Sr  Lecturer, GGHSS, Miran Sahib, Jammu, Rajni Abrol, Sr Lecturer, GHSS, Camp  Bohri, Jammu and Dharam Paul, Lecturer, GHSS, Budhi, Kathua.
The workshop was organized under the guidance and supervision of Dr Farooq
Ahmad Peer, Director Academics and Dr Yasir Hamid Sirwal, Assistant Director-JD who impressed upon the participating experts to develop the best content of Hindi Language for class XI &XII as per the prescribed guidelines of NCF 2005.
Besides, Suresh Kumar Gouria and Ranjeet Singh Manhas, Academic Officers-JD, JKBOSE and Dil Raj Kour, Academic Assistant, JKBOSE, were also present in the workshop, which was coordinated by Dr Anuradha Sharma, Academic Officer-JD, JKBOSE.
The workshop was earlier inaugurated on August 13 by Mohd Altaf Hussain, Joint
Secretary, Administration/ Secrecy-JD who,  impressed upon the participating subject experts to develop the textbooks after having detailed deliberations and  discussions taking into consideration standard and quality of the content. He stressed that nothing contradictory should be there in the textual material developed by them.
Roshan Lal Gupta, Joint Secretary, Examination,   interacted with the participants and expressed need of revision of the syllabus and text books of Hindi at par with NCERT books.
