Hotel, Bar & Restaurant Association submits memorandum of demands

UDHAMPUR, May 30:  A delegation of Udhampur Hotel, Bar and Restaurant Association, led by its president Vikram Singh Slathia called on Deputy Commissioner Ravinder Kumar and submitted a memorandum, addressed to the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.
In the memorandum, the Association highlighted various demands and suggestions for promotion of Hotel and Tourism Industry in district Udhampur. These demands include; establishment of  a Sub-base camp at Udhampur for Amarnath pilgrims,  Tourism incentive scheme for the district, establishment of permanent Tourism office, development of attractive and unique pilgrimage-tourist places of Udhampur 5 district, improvement of facilities at Udhampur Railway Station, electricity charges to Hotel industry on subsidized and industrial rates, etc.
Slathia hoped that the Chief Minister would personally look into their demands and suggestions for consideration of the same at earliest.
The delegation comprised of Sanjeev Kumar, Kuldeep Singh, Gopal Singh, Satvinder Sharma, Lal Singh, Sham Sharma, Navneet, Sanjay Kumar, Ajay Kumar and others.
