JAMMU, Apr 23: A Hindi poetry collection book titled “Ahsaas” written by Jagdeshwary Sharma, an upcoming Hindi poetess of Reasi, was released by Manvi Parkashan, Jammu at K L Saigal Hall of Cultural Academy, here today.
The present book is a collection of 55 poems, dealing with nature in its varied hues, various life situations as well as different other social issues associated with social life.
Poetry included in the book is presented in pictorial frames, expressing different emotions of the poetess through symbols, images and with relevant titles in an aesthetical manner. The reader is customized with the realities of life and vision of common people through her poems. Womanhood related poems leave their impact. Similarly the issue of feticide has also been taken with concern by the poetess being herself a woman. Somewhere, she seems to be inspired by poet Indu Bhushan in content and form. However, the topics are contemporary in their basic nature.
