NEW DELHI, Oct 5: National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah today appealed the people of the State to help those who have lost their kin and homes in the last months floods to mark the tomorrow’s Eid-ul-Azha.
“This Eid should be about empathy and solidarity with the flood-affected people who have lost their kin and are displaced from their homes,” the former Union Minister said.
“I stand in solidarity with the flood-affected people of our State and make a fervent appeal to everyone to mark this Eid by showing solidarity with those who have lost everything in the floods,” the NC leader said.
