JAMMU, Dec 5: Chairman Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan (DSS) and former MP, Ch. Lal Singh has said that health services in J&K have failed in controlling the Corona pandemic.
Addressing a series of meetings at Chalaki, Ghair, Haiachal, Blasts Khoo, Mathrechak and Chakra of Mareen constituency, Lal Singh regretted that J&K faced worst ever crisis during the last few years.
“The government failed to flatten the curve of Corona pandemic which has not only brought the country on second spot in the world in terms of community transmission but also exposed the failure of the prevalent health care system,” he said.
The DSS Chairman further said that the soaring unemployment among the youth and resentment among farmers and border dwellers has proven fatal for many in Jammu region.
He said that the ruling party has undemocratic and authoritarian approach and the government is not listening to the farmers.
“Non restoration of 4G internet services in J&K is badly affecting the students for the last one year,” he said.
While campaigning for his party candidates for the DDC election, Singh said that DSS is the only viable option for the people of Jammu region and the statehood for Jammu can alone solve the problems of the people of Jammu and the empowerment of DSS would mean empowerment of the people.
