JAMMU, Dec 5: Police arrested a drug peddler along with large quantity of intoxicant capsules and tablets.
As per police sources, during checking at Nanak Nagar, a team from Gandhi Nagar Police Station intercepted an Alto car.
During checking, police team recovered 2496 intoxicant capsules and 270 tablets from the vehicle and arrested one person.
The arrested person has been identified as Parveen Sharma, son of late Mohan Lal Sharma, a resident of Trikuta Nagar District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 205/2020 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Gandhi Nagar Police Station and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment and other persons involved in this illegal trade.
