SRINAGAR, Apr 29: High Court sought compliance from Director Health Service Kashmir about its earlier order and in default directed him to appear before the court.
Court on March 9 had directed the DHSK to inform as to whether subsistence allowance has been released in favour of the petitioner and his suspension case has been reviewed after statutory period of three months.
“One weeek’s time granted for ensuring compliance of order date March 9. In default respondent will remain personally present along with records. List week following next, higher up”, court of Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir directed.
Petitioner Gowhar Abbas Khan a doctor by profession was placed under suspension last year and aggrieved of his suspension, he approached the court and court observed that the respondents would take periodical review of suspension of the petitioner under applicable rules.
Director, however, states that he is not in a position to comment anything as the reasons of suspension of the petitioner are not known to his office and instead request Commissioner Secretary H&ME to communicate reasons of suspension of petitioner.
