JAMMU, July 18: In a petition filed by members of Schedule Caste community of village Rasooh, tehsil and district Kathua, State High Court directed the Deputy Commissioner and SSP Kathua to appear in person as they have not complied with the order dated June 13, 2012 whereby they were required to file affidavits indicating the steps taken by them regarding allegations made by the petitioners.
After hearing Advocate S S Ahmed appearing for the petitioners, Justice J P Singh observed that respondents Deputy Commissioner and SSP Kathua have not complied with order dated June 13, 2012. The Court directed them to appear in person on next date of hearing.
