JAMMU, Apr 20: Senior BJP leader and MLA Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta today held an extensive tour of Bawe Wali Gali to take stock of the developmental requirements of the people. During his visit to the area, he also kick-started the up-gradation work of lanes at Bawe wali Gali Ward No 6 from Mandir to D.P.S school of the constituency.
The estimated cost of up-gradation of these lanes is approximately Rs. 8 lakh.
JMC AEE Zuber was also present on the occasion.
Rajesh while interacting with the residents of the area assured that public service and welfare of society will be his benchmark approach. He vowed to work relentlessly for achieving his goal in making the constituency as an example for its counterparts with up to the mark edifice and all round development. He also invited innovative suggestions from people for putting in more vigour into his mission to provide bounties in the shape of facilities and services to the residents of Jammu East.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajesh Gupta assured the residents that Ward No. 6 will be developed as a model ward by accomplishing cent percent work on its lanes, drains, streets lights, etc.
