Gujrat Minister, MP participate in ICCC workshop

JAMMU, Dec 10: State Karyashala (workshop) of Iron Collection Cooperation Committee (ICCC)  was organised at Karan Palace, Domana today which was attended by 300 members and representatives of ICCC, Jammu and Kashmir from all over the state. The agenda of the Karyashala (workshop) was education of district and block committees of ICCC and to assess the preparations of ‘Run for Unity’ to be organised on Dec 15 on the death anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
Chhatra Singh Mori Minister for Food Supplies and Consumer Affairs Govt. of Gujarat and Bharatsinh Parmar, MP Rajya Sabha were present as chief guests. Among others dignitaries Dr. Nirmal Singh, State Coordinator ICCC, Jugal Kishore, State president BJP, Shamsher Singh national executive member and Ashok Kaul, State Gen. Secretary (Organisation) were also present.
Dr. Nirmal Singh welcomed all the guests and member of ICCC and said that Jammu and Kashmir is working whole heartedly for this concept of ‘Statue of Unity’ to contribute in this national cause.
Addressing district and block teams of ICCC, Chhatra Singh Mori said that this is a unique type of remembering Sardar Patel who united 555 states to integrate with Independent Bharat. He added that successive Congress Governments have tried to establish leaders from only one family, but Narendra Modi initiated this campaign as a tribute to the forgotten national hero and we must come forward to strengthen his vision for the country.
In his address Bharatsinh Parmar said that with Statue of Unity movement India will feel connected together as dream of Sardar Patel. He said about 20 lakh people will run on the Dec 15 to pay their tributes to Sardar and the Run will be a world record in itself.
Ashok Kaul and Jugal Kishore ensured their and the party’s full support and cooperation to achieve goal of Statue of Unity Movement. Volunteers from Citizens for Accountable Governance (CAG) presented the visual presentation to educate the members and about execution of the programs of Statue of Unity.
Karan Singh member of committee and Kissan cell presented vote of thanks. Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra managed the proceedings of the stage.
