JAMMU, Feb 24: All J&K Dalit Chetna Manch (DCM) has flayed the Government for allegedly befooling the Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs) and Other Backward Categories (OBCs) in the name of giving full constitutional benefits to these communities regarding reservation after the abrogation of Article 370 and reorganization of J&K State into Union Territory (UT).
In a press conference here today DCM leader, Sham Lal Bassan claimed that some bureaucrats in J&K are not projecting the true picture of ground realities to the Lieutenant Governor, G.C Murmu and are delaying the grass root level implementation of Government schemes meant for the reserved categories.
He claimed that some senior bureaucrats are hand in glove with ‘anti-constitutional’ forces and are misguiding their higher ups in the matter of reservation in promotions.
Bassan said, even after the eight months of abrogation of Article 370 there is confusion that none of the central laws is extended to the J&K UT.
R.L Dogra, Bahadur Lal and M.L Banlaia also spoke on the occasion.
