JAMMU, Sept 8: The death news of Dr Ritu Gupta, Professor Physiology GMC Jammu, came as a Tsunami of separation which is very hard to bear but the nature has its plans for all of us. My heart is rippled with gigantic pain and I can hardly believe that the news is true as it is said that the loss of an intellectual is the loss to whole world. This was stated by GMC Jammu Principal Dr Shashi Sharma.
“She will always be remembered as an excellent teacher and dynamic faculty member among the students and his co workers. She was a noble soul and showed greatest empathy towards her patients and always went one step ahead to help the patients. Because of this zeal she had already pledged to donate her eyes so that someone might be relieved of the sufferings, and her dream was realised when her corneas were transplanted into two needy patients on the same day of her death.
Dr Ritu Gupta has not only been a Doctor, teacher and faculty member but she was the epitome of human excellence who loved to be part of this college, Dr Sharma said.
She was the chairperson of multiple committees of GMC Jammu and Paramedical College which definitely speaks about the diverse aspects of her personality.
